| i got to see billiam on tuesday night and it was AMAZING. ann and i drove down to houston, stopped by jon's house, took a tour around kingwood and then met up with bill and his friend finn at the galleria. it was so good to get to see him. in the real world. it was kinda crazy. i can't even describe to you how much fun we had. i'll post some pictures later when my wireless internet is working better.
and then tonight, i got to see shannon. man, i miss that kid a lot. caitlin got to come too and it was way too much fun. i finally met shannon's entire family. they're just so darn cute. i love them all. i seriously want to be walker's best friend. no lie.
tomorrow we get to go to caitlin's family's house for some christmas brunch fun. i love those kids too. there are rumors of some monkey bread... this is turning out to be an amazing break.
| at a family christmas party last night, i definitely caught my hair on fire... the even funnier part is is that i talked to shannon later and she was at a family christmas party and caught her necklace on fire. weird. we're so much alike.
it was fun going to church yesterday. i loved seeing emily and kevin especially. after church we celebrated dewey's 24th birthday by going out to roadhouse. i was hoping to see rachel, but she didn't get on till 4.
things that made me smile today:
- took a trip to mi casita this morning for some breakfast burritos. i looove that place.
- before that, as i was waking up, i got to talk to matthew a little online. i seriously love that kid.
- ann finished her christmas shopping while i just started mine.
- got a chi tea latte at barnes and noble.
- the sis and i had a dance party in velma in between stops at target, hastings, walmart, jason's, and barnes and noble.
- even though i didn't personally get to talk to him, ann talked to our cousin JD on the phone today. he's seriously (unofficially) my favorite cousin. i don't know, he's just the nicest to us and always goes out of his way to make sure we feel included. and he makes me laugh.
- ann and i went to the public library and i checked out 3 books. shann, you'd be proud.
- and mom and dad have decided that we might try to go to hawaii with dad after christmas.
so there it is. pretty fun-filled day. i loooove christmas. i love being home. i love hangin out with the parents. and i love love.
hope everyone else is having a happy christmas.
| i get to go home later today. | | |
| school is finally over which makes me a happy, happy girl. no more astronomy. ever.
working the office on 3 hours sleep. no good.
i get to go home on saturday, after all my residents have left. most residents are leaving today, and this is the most human contact i've ever had during my 6-9am shift.
the one and only bill, part deux will be in houston, TEXAS early next week...4 hours away from my home. i will, in fact, be there to see the love of my life. happy christmas to the r-ski girls.
| this kid's birthday was yesterday.

happy 24th birthday, dewey!
just finished my last final, astronomy. although i still feel a little unsettled from that class still, at least i'm done with school for the semester. this is the first real break i've had since summer '04, since i'm now done with all the classes i had to finish after my car accident. and that's a good feeling.
catching up on sleep before my eval this afternoon.
